Niro is the true protagonist of The Crystal of Light series. A young mage with an unknown past. Having lost most of her memories, she seeks for her friends to find answers. Her path crosses with Gladius, who seeks the Crystal.
Appearance[]
She has a petite figure hidden under her oversized clothing, matching the color of her hair that's clumsily cut short. Most of her skin is covered by cloth, protecting it against the harsh sun. Her black hair frames her small face, often sporting an clueless expression. However, one can't deny she has her own charm. There's no heart her smile can't reach.
Out of all her features, her eyes stood out the most. Its distinct golden color generally describes Daemons. She lacks the other features, such as horns, pointy ears, fangs, wings or tails, appearing mostly human. Even so, other Daemons could easily identify her as their own due to her scent.
Personality[]
Always having a smile on her face, Niro is described as some who can easily brighten up the heavy mood. Her clumsiness was often not helped by her impulsive actions. She's the type of person who'd trip at her own foot.
Behind her carefree demeanor is a skilled observer. She watches others without raising a hint of suspicion, making a strategy of her own. She exhibits such a dependable aura around others, exhibiting her prowess greatly in a battle.

"Niro" is derived from the Italian word "nero", meaning black. It is also an anagram of her twin brother's name, Noir, which is a French word that has the same meaning.
